TSS Security is one of very few security companies in the UK to be an ‘Approved Contractor’ of the SIA, as well as a Steering Committee member of Project Griffin, Operation Puro and Operation Trident in association with the Metropolitan Police. Through close relationships with industry related bodies such as the BII and the SIA, the Company is in key position to offer advice on a wide variety of licensing issues, including court representation if required as TSS is listed in the Expert Witness Directory. Due to their accreditations, partnerships and affiliations they are able to add weight to any licensing application that a venue may wish to make, as well as assist and advise on any objections raised against existing licenses.
The company work’s within the specifications of the Client to build an optimal personnel profile for Security at the venue. This ensures that the team is effective, uniform, aesthetically pleasing and in keeping with the overall personality of the site and can even be tailored to suit particular nights in line with different crowds. Once the team is put into place, our objective is to make this as permanent as possible (allowing for sickness etc) so as to provide continuity for the running of a smooth operation and building up a rapport and local knowledge of the client base. In the event of the venue wishing to change any or all of the security team, TSS has the ability to do so almost immediately.
If there are any current members of the venue’s existing security team which a client wishes to retain, subject to all the necessary administrative and legal requirements, TSS can bring them into the team. Our company structure and insurance package limits the client’s risk and removes any implication of Public & Employer’s liability from the client with regards to the Security Operatives
An area manager would be assigned to a site to ensure effective and proficient service delivery. Security hours would be formatted in a staggered schedule in line with the quiet and busy trading periods of each Venue to ensure financial efficiency.
